The Riggs Children
oil on linen, 48" x 54"

The sister was cooperative enough to be a professional artist's model. Her little brother,
on the other hand, was rambunctious and evaded my every attempt to work with him. After a very long day of running and playing he finally settled into a quiet moment. I painted him in this disheveled state, which gives the painting genuine charm.
