Cynthia Harris-Pagano specializes in portraits in oil and pastel. She works out of her studio in Otisville, New York, one hour northwest of New York City.

Her portrait paintings are in public and private collections in the USA , Canada, England Sweden, and Italy.

Her portrait "Young Woman in Brown Vest" was reproduced in Pastel Highlights, 1997, an American Artist Publication and she has been a featured artist in the Hudson Valley Magazine. As well as receiving awards in many regional art exhibits, she received an award for "Portrait ofMarya", from Womanart Visual (concepts Inc. at the Cork Gallery, Lincoln Center, New York City, 1980.

Her background includes the Ridgewood Art Institute, Ridgewood, New Jersey, studies in north light with John Osbome; Daniel Greene Portrait Workshop, North Salem, NY; Robert Beverly Hale, Art Students' League, New York City; M. A. Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, New York City; B.A. Vassar College.

Cynthia Harris Pagano is a member of The Portrait Society of America, The American Association of Portrait Artists, The Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club, and The Hudson Valley Pastel Society.
