Sittings take place at the client’s home or choice of location. This is a photographic session which lasts between one and two hours, depending on the number of figures and the complexity of the composition.

Preliminary studies are prepared for the client’s review before proceeding to the final portrait. They are not included in the price of the portrait.

Each portrait is painted on fine Belgian linen canvas using the highest quality materials available to ensure permanence.

PRICING
Current prices begin at $6,000 for a single subject. Commission prices are based upon the size of the painting and the number of subjects.

Pets and animals are an additional 25% of the price of the portrait.

Frames are not included in the prices. The Nehers will work with the clients to select a custom frame that is appropriate to the painting and the placement of the portrait. Shipping costs are not included in the price of the portrait.

Travel expenses for the artist are not included in the price of the portrait.

DEPOSIT
A payment of one-third of the commission price is required at the time of the sitting. This payment is non-refundable in order to compensate for the artist’s time and progression of the portrait. The remaining balance is paid upon completion of the portrait.
