Patricia Haskins McWilliams
is a nationally-known portrait artist whose professional painting
career spans almost thirty years. She has won numerous awards including
The National Portrait Competition both in New York and Atlanta.
A graduate of the University of North Alabama, she studied art and
earned a BS degree in Elementary Education. Having studied under
renowned portrait artist John Howard Sanden her work reflects his
influence. She is a member of The Portrait Society of America
and The Portrait Institute of New York. Ms McWilliams paints her
subjects in oil with a style of impressionistic realism that lends
itself to a natural portrayal of personality as well as likeness.
In addition to private collections in Europe,
her paintings hang in private and public collections throughout
the United States.
